Volunteers at the Clare Food Bank met with members of Council and staff of the Municipality of Clare, as well as community member Shane Robicheau, to receive this year's Season of Giving donations.

And that’s a wrap for the Municipality of Clare’s 2022 Fifth Annual Season of Giving campaign!

The Municipality of Clare would like to thank all those who participated by either making a donation or by organizing a donation drive. A very special thank-you to the students at École secondaire de Clare, who collected two pickup truckloads of non-perishable goods. It brought us great joy this week to drop off food donations to the Clare Food Bank and toy donations to Les Papas Noel de Clare.

Once again, in lieu of a holiday party, the staff and council of the Municipality of Clare have chosen to make donations to community charities. The Clare Food Bank and the Clare Santa Clauses each received a $750 donation.

Final preparations are also underway for the Clare for the Holidays community meal, which will be held on December 24 at the Clare Veterans Centre from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Private- and public-sector partners have rolled up their sleeves to offer a warm and delicious meal for those looking for some extra company this holiday season. Free transportation is also available by request. For more information please contact 902-540-4354 or at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

A reminder that the season of giving continues throughout the year. Thank you to the community for your generosity, and Happy Holidays!
